Live Plants

Everything we currently have growing is gathered here: rhizome plants for wood and rock, rosettes for the substrate, stem plants for the background, carpeting species for the foreground, and the occasional bulb.

Finding the right plant

• Low light, no CO2: Anubias, Microsorum and Moss are the most forgiving places to start.
• Background: stem plants such as Hygrophila, or Vallisneria for a grassy look.
• Colour: Ludwigia under stronger light.

Plant orders arrive on a rotating basis and portions sell through, so this page reflects what is genuinely in the shop rather than a fixed catalogue. Live plants are sold for local pickup at our Lethbridge store.
