Cory

Corydoras are small armoured catfish from South America and one of the easiest bottom-dwellers to keep well. Most aquarium species stay modest in size as adults, which is part of why they fit so many community tanks.

They are shoaling fish and should be kept in groups of six or more of the same species. Sand or smooth, rounded gravel matters here: sharp substrate wears down the barbels they use to find food. Add a little cover, keep the water clean and well oxygenated, and they are undemanding.

A strong choice for beginners and a good addition to almost any peaceful community. Species availability rotates with each shipment, so the list here reflects what is in store now. Livestock is sold for pickup in Lethbridge.
