Replacement Parts

Spares for filters and equipment, so one failed part does not mean replacing a whole unit. The range is largely Fluval canister components: impellers and impeller covers, motor seal rings, AquaStop valves, ribbed hosing, intake stems, rim connectors and output nozzles, plus heater brackets and silicone lubricant.

Ordering the right part

Model number is everything. Fluval canisters share a family resemblance, but the 07 series, the older 06 units and the FX range use different seals and connectors. The second thing worth knowing is which parts are consumable: impellers and O-rings wear out, and a seal ring that has gone hard is a common cause of a noisy or leaking canister.

Spares are usually bought with fresh media and lubricant.
