Collection: Aquarium Décor

Décor covers the artificial plants and decorative pieces that give a tank structure. At the moment the page leans heavily toward plastic plants, including bonsai-style trees, tall background stems and GloFish coloured pieces, rather than caves or figures.

Picking pieces

Height is the first decision, with short pieces at the front and taller stems behind where they screen equipment. Footprint is the second, since a wide base eats into swimming space in a small tank. Finish is the third: softer, more flexible plastics are gentler around long-finned fish such as bettas.

Décor is usually bought with substrate and a background, and often alongside driftwood for a more natural look.

For sculpted standalone pieces rather than plants, see Ornaments.
