Instant Ocean
Instant Ocean makes synthetic sea salt mixes for marine and reef aquariums, and both of the mixes we carry are long-standing options in the hobby.
Instant Ocean Sea Salt is the general-purpose mix for fish-only and soft coral systems. Reef Crystals is the enriched version, with added calcium and trace elements aimed at stony corals and clams under heavier lighting.
Which one suits you comes down to the livestock. A fish-only or first marine tank rarely needs the extra reef supplementation, while a growing reef will draw calcium and alkalinity down faster. Mix and aerate before use, and check salinity with a refractometer. Local pickup available in Lethbridge.
More marine mixes are listed under salt.
