Our aquarium range is small and deliberately so: glass tanks and all-in-one kits, including Fluval Visi-White tanks, the LIV Microscaping kit and a Marineland aquarium. Availability changes, so it is worth checking a listing before making the trip.
Sizing a tank
Footprint matters more than gallons. A long, shallow tank gives active swimmers room and makes aquascaping easier, while a tall tank of the same volume offers less usable floor space. Weight is the second consideration, because a filled aquarium is heavy and the surface underneath has to be level and rated for the load. Kits are best compared on what is actually included: filter, lid and lighting.
Tanks are normally bought with substrate, a filter, a heater and a stand.
