Collection: Pump

This page gathers every pump we carry, which makes it a useful starting point but a broad one. It currently holds air pumps from Tetra and Marina, Fluval Sea circulation pumps, Aquavitro Sentia dosing units, and Lifegard and Seachem return pumps.

Narrowing it down

Decide what the pump is moving first. Air pumps are rated by tank volume and depth. Circulation pumps are rated by flow against tank volume. Return pumps are rated by flow and by head height, meaning how far the water has to climb out of the sump. Dosing pumps are measured in millilitres per dose rather than litres per hour, and are a different tool entirely.

Pumps are usually bought with tubing, check valves and fittings.
