Endler

Endler's livebearers are tiny, brilliantly marked relatives of the guppy. Males are noticeably smaller and more colourful than females, and the whole fish stays small enough to suit tanks that would be cramped for most community species.

They are peaceful, constantly active, and undemanding as long as the water is hard and alkaline rather than soft and acidic. Fine-leaved plants and floating cover give fry somewhere to hide, which matters because, like all livebearers, they breed readily and often. Keeping males only is the usual way to control numbers.

A good fit for nano tanks, planted aquascapes and first setups. Strains rotate with each shipment. Livestock is sold for pickup in Lethbridge.
