Freshwater Fish

Freshwater tropical fish make up the bulk of what we stock. The range runs from small shoaling species that suit a first heated aquarium, through livebearers and catfish, up to cichlids and larger centrepiece fish that need a dedicated tank.

Two things decide whether a fish is right for you: adult size and temperament. A fish that is 3 cm in the bag may be 15 cm in a year, and peaceful species and territorial ones rarely make good neighbours. Each listing gives you a starting point, and we are happy to talk through a stocking plan in the shop.

Stock rotates with each shipment, so current availability is exactly what you see here. All livestock is sold for local pickup at our Lethbridge store.

Narrow it down in Tetras or Cory Catfish.
