Random Live Plant

This is a single live aquarium plant chosen from whatever we have in stock on the day, sold without specifying the species in advance. It is a cheap way to add planting to a tank, to try species you would not have picked deliberately, or to fill gaps in an aquascape while you decide what you actually want there. What you receive depends entirely on current stock, so it will vary from week to week.

What to expect

• One live plant, species chosen from current stock.
• It may be a rooted plant, a stem plant, a rhizome plant or a moss, and each is planted differently.
• Ask us what is available before you buy if you need something specific for your light level or substrate.
• We will tell you what the plant is and how to plant it when you collect it.
• Some plants are grown emersed and may drop a few leaves as they convert to underwater growth. This is normal.

Suits keepers filling out a new tank on a budget, and anyone happy to be surprised. If you have a specific gap to fill, browse the named plants instead.

Stock rotates as new plants arrive, and plants are sold for local pickup at our Lethbridge store. See the current live plants.
