Endler Assorted (MALE)

Endler's livebearer is a close relative of the guppy from coastal lagoons in northern Venezuela, and it is sold here as assorted males. They are smaller and slimmer than fancy guppies, with short fins and blocks of metallic green, orange, black and blue arranged differently on almost every fish. Because the fins are short they swim quickly and cleanly rather than trailing, and a group of males in a planted tank is constant movement and colour.

Aquarium care

• Small, noticeably smaller than a fancy guppy.
• Peaceful and active.
• Keep a group; males kept alone are restless.
• Prefers harder, alkaline water.
• Occupies the middle and upper levels.
• Omnivorous: small flake, micro pellets and frozen daphnia.

Males only means no fry, which makes this a tidy option for a small planted tank or a shrimp tank where you do not want population growth. They mix well with corydoras, small rasboras and ember tetras. Endlers and guppies will interbreed, so keep them apart if you care about maintaining the line.

Stock rotates with each shipment, and livestock is sold for local pickup at our Lethbridge store. See the current endler list.
