Ornaments are the standalone decorative pieces that give a tank a focal point and give shy fish somewhere to retreat. The current selection is modest and leans toward sculpted bonsai-style trees and a GloFish anemone rather than a broad range of caves and figures.

Choosing one

Scale is the first thing to check against your tank, as a piece that looks small on a shelf can dominate a nano aquarium. Safety is second: look for smooth edges and openings a fish can pass through cleanly rather than wedge itself into. Materials matter too, so stick with items labelled aquarium safe rather than craft or garden pieces.

Ornaments are usually bought with substrate and background plants.
