A pre-set submersible heater for tropical community tanks, aimed at keepers who would rather not think about a dial at all.
Key features
Electronic thermostat pre-set to a tropical community temperature, with nothing to adjust
Indicator lights show at a glance whether the heater is working or holding on standby
Fully submersible, so it can sit low and horizontal where the water actually circulates
Sold in several sizes rated by tank volume — tell us the tank and we will point you to the right one
Because it is pre-set, it is the wrong tool if you need to raise temperature for treatment or you keep species outside the usual tropical range; an adjustable heater is the better choice there. A separate thermometer is still worth having, since a pre-set heater gives you no reading of its own. More from the brand in Tetra.
