Multi-parameter strips are a monitoring tool. They show you when something has moved, which is most of what routine testing is for. They do not read ammonia, and they are not as precise as liquid reagents, so a strip result that looks bad is worth confirming with a liquid kit before you start dosing anything.
Test most often when a tank is new and still cycling, in the weeks after adding fish, and whenever the tank looks or smells different from usual. More of the range is in our Tetra collection. Available for pickup at our Lethbridge shop.
