Seachem SeaGel™

SeaGel combines Seachem's MatrixCarbon and PhosGuard in one medium, so a single bag in the filter covers both organic removal and phosphate control.

Key features

• The carbon side clears dissolved organics, colour and odour
• The PhosGuard side binds phosphate and silicate
• One media bag instead of two where filter space is tight
• Both components are bead-shaped, so water passes through rather than compacting the media
• Marine, reef and freshwater use

It suits small marine systems and nano tanks in particular, where a canister or rear chamber simply has not the room for two separate bags. If you would rather control how much of each you run, the two products are also sold on their own.

As with any carbon-containing medium, take it out while you are medicating a tank. Filter media and treatments sit together in our water care range. Available for pickup at our Lethbridge shop.
