Seachem Prime®

Prime is our best selling water conditioner, and the bottle most keepers reach for every time they do a water change.

Key features

• Removes chlorine and chloramine from tap water, which is the non negotiable step before water goes near fish
• Temporarily detoxifies ammonia and nitrite while your biological filter catches up
• Concentrated enough that a small bottle lasts a long time on an average tank
• Does not lower pH and will not over activate a protein skimmer

The ammonia and nitrite protection is genuinely temporary, measured in a day or so, and is meant to carry a tank through cycling or a filter problem while you do water changes. It is not a way to keep fish safe in an uncycled tank indefinitely. Dose to the label for your bottle size.

If you go through a lot of it, Seachem Safe is the same chemistry in dry form. Both are stocked with our water conditioners.
