Seachem PhosNet

PhosNet is a granular ferric oxide medium that binds phosphate and silicate out of aquarium water.

Ferric oxide media does its best work with water actively pushed through it. A media reactor or a well-packed canister chamber achieves far more than a bag dropped into a quiet corner of a sump. Rinse the granules before use, as this type of media gives off a fine rust-coloured dust that will otherwise cloud the tank.
