Seachem Flourish Iron™

Flourish Iron is a single element supplement for planted tanks showing iron shortage, using ferrous gluconate rather than an EDTA chelate.

Key features

• Addresses the classic iron deficiency sign: yellowing between the veins of new leaves while older growth stays green
• Ferrous gluconate is a form plants can take up through their leaves without first converting it
• Raises iron on its own, without adding nitrogen, phosphorus or potassium
• Also helps red stem plants and red crypts hold their colour under adequate light

Iron is used up and oxidised quickly in an aquarium, so if you test for it, test soon after dosing rather than the next day. Iron alone will not fix growth that is stalled for another reason, so check light and macro levels before you keep adding more.

Part of the single element range in plant fertilizer and additives.
