Seachem Discus Trace

Discus Trace is a trace element supplement for soft-water aquariums, made to replace the minor elements that are used up, oxidised or precipitated out between water changes.

Key features

• Supplies trace and ultra-trace elements rather than the bulk minerals that harden water.
• Contains no sodium chloride, which matters because discus and most live plants do not tolerate the salt levels sometimes added as a general tonic.
• Aimed at tanks run on RO or very soft water, where the trace element load starts low.

Notes

• This is a supplement, not a medication. It will not address disease, and it is no substitute for regular water changes and good feeding.
• Dose to the label and to a schedule. More is not better with trace elements.
• Sensible alongside a buffer if you are deliberately managing soft, acidic water.
