Seachem Alert Series

Alert discs sit inside the aquarium and change colour continuously, so you glance at the glass instead of running a test.

Key features

• Continuous monitoring, rather than a single reading at the moment you happen to test
• Ammonia Alert responds to free ammonia, the toxic form, in fresh or salt water
• pH Alert tracks pH shifts in freshwater tanks
• The colour change is reversible, so the disc follows the tank both up and down
• No reagents, tubes or timing involved

Options

• Ammonia Alert
• pH Alert, freshwater only
• Combo pack with both

These are a companion to a test kit rather than a replacement for one. A disc tells you at a glance that something has changed; a liquid kit tells you by how much. They earn their keep on a newly set up tank, after a large addition of stock, or on a tank you cannot check as often as you would like.

Liquid kits and reagents are in our water care range. Local pickup at our Lethbridge store.
