San Francisco Bay Frozen Brine Shrimp Flat 16oz

Adult brine shrimp in a 16 oz flat pack, the most widely accepted frozen food in the hobby, in a size that suits a fishroom.

Key features

• Recognised as prey by an unusually wide range of freshwater and marine fish, which makes it a reliable first food for new arrivals that are not yet eating.
• Mild enough to work into regular rotation alongside flake or pellet feedings.
• The flat pack breaks into pieces, so you thaw only what a single feeding needs.
• Also taken by many invertebrates and by larger fry moving on from baby brine shrimp.

Feeding and handling

• Thaw a piece in a small cup of tank water, then feed the shrimp and leave most of the pack liquid behind.
• Feed sparingly and remove anything uneaten.
• Keep frozen, and do not refreeze a pack that has thawed through.
