Adult brine shrimp in a 3.5 oz cube pack, priced for regular use rather than saved for special occasions.
Key features
- Brine shrimp are the most broadly accepted frozen food in the hobby, which makes this an easy first frozen food to try.
- Works across freshwater and marine tanks, and is taken by many invertebrates as well.
- Cubes suit a single display tank; a flat pack makes more sense once you are feeding a fishroom.
- Milder than bloodworms, so it slots into a weekly rotation without much thought.
Feeding and handling
- Thaw a cube in a small container of tank water, feed the shrimp and leave most of the liquid behind.
- Feed only what the fish clear and remove anything that settles.
A freezer item available for local pickup at our Lethbridge store. Other frozen and dry diets are in Nutrition.
