Marina Cool Clear Airline Tubing

Airline tubing is the link between your air pump and everything it drives, and it is one of the cheapest things in the hobby to replace once it starts to stiffen or yellow.

Old tubing hardens and splits at the joints, and that is where most mysterious drops in air output come from. If your pump sits below the water line, put a check valve into the run so that a stopped pump cannot let the tank siphon itself back down the tube.
