Marina Betta Vacation Block Food, 12g

A slow-dissolving block that releases food into the water over several days, meant to cover a short absence.

Key features

• Sits in the tank and breaks down gradually, so nobody has to come by and feed while you are gone.
• Sized for a single betta rather than a stocked community aquarium.
• Best in a tank that is already established, heated and filtered. A dissolving block adds to the bioload and can affect water quality, particularly in a small volume with little filtration.
• Remove whatever is left when you return, test the water, and go back to normal feeding.

Treat this as a stopgap for a weekend or a few days, not an ongoing arrangement. A betta should not be left indefinitely on a block, and for longer trips the right answer is someone coming in to feed and check the tank. Other holiday and block feeders sit together in our weekend and feeder collection. Available for local pickup at our Lethbridge store.
