This pad is rated by Marina for glass. Acrylic scratches far more easily than glass, so confirm which your tank is before running any magnet on it, and ask our staff if you are unsure. On either surface, keep the cleaning face away from the substrate and check it for trapped sand before each pass, because grit caught under a pad is what actually causes scratches.
