Hikari Frozen Krill

Whole krill, the largest and firmest of the frozen crustacean foods we stock, aimed squarely at big carnivorous fish.

Key features

• A substantial mouthful for larger marine fish and for freshwater predators such as big cichlids and oscars.
• Krill naturally contain astaxanthin, the carotenoid associated with red and orange pigment in fish.
• Too large for most small community fish, so pair it with a finer food if you are feeding a mixed tank.

Thaw a portion in tank water before feeding and leave the pack liquid behind; feed only what is taken and net out the rest. Stored in our freezer and sold for local pickup at our Lethbridge store, with the rest of the Hikari line.
