Fluval Foam Filter Blocks 2 Pack

Two replacement foam blocks for Fluval's larger canister filters, handling the mechanical stage that everything else in the filter depends on.

Key features

• Listed by the manufacturer for the Fluval 404, 405, 406 and 407 canisters
• Coarse enough to keep flowing while still catching leaf litter, waste and uneaten food
• Custom shaped for the media basket so debris cannot bypass the foam
• Supplied in a two-pack, which is what makes staggered replacement possible

What's included

Two foam filter blocks.

Before you order

Check the model number on your filter body, as foam for the larger canisters is not interchangeable with the smaller models or with the FX range. Bio-Foam Max for the 406 and 407 is a different, rippled block sold separately. Rinse foam in old tank water rather than replacing it on sight, since a mature block is carrying a bacterial colony. Other canister consumables are in External Media, and staff at our Lethbridge store can confirm the fit if you are unsure.
