Fluval Bug Bites Betta Micro Granules 30g

Bug Bites Betta Micro Granules are the smallest grade in Fluval's insect-protein range, sized so a betta can take a whole granule in one bite rather than tearing at food that is too large for its mouth.

Key features

• Black soldier fly larvae lead the ingredient list, which is what the Bug Bites range is built around and closer to what a betta eats in the wild than a grain-first food.
• Micro granules suit a betta's small, upturned mouth and are easy to portion out a few at a time.
• Granules stay near the surface at first, so you can watch your fish feed and lift out anything left behind.
• Intended as a daily staple rather than a treat. Feed sparingly, since bettas will keep eating well past what they need.

Food is only part of the picture: bettas are tropical fish and need heated, filtered water to digest properly and stay well, so a stable warm tank does more for appetite than any single product. This is the grade to choose for bettas and other small-mouthed fish. Larger community fish are easier to feed on the small/medium or medium/large Bug Bites grades, which you can compare in our Fluval collection. Available for local pickup at our Lethbridge store.
