Fluval 207 Bio-Foam Value Pack

A value pack of Bio-Foam for the Fluval 207, aimed at anyone who would rather not discover mid-service that there is no clean foam left in the cupboard.

Key features

• Sized for the Fluval 207 media basket
• Carries the coarse mechanical load so the finer media behind it stays useful longer
• Provides the bulk of the surface area your beneficial bacteria colonise
• Buying several at once makes it practical to rotate foam gradually instead of all at once

Looking after it

A slow 207 is usually a clogged 207, and foam is nearly always the culprit. Rinse it in a bucket of tank water at every service, never under the tap, and hold back on replacing every block on the same day. Swapping the lot removes the mature bacteria along with the dirt and can push a settled tank back into a small ammonia spike.

The equivalent packs for the 107, 307 and 407 are listed separately, as is the single-piece Bio-Foam+ that covers the 107 and 207. More filter consumables are in Replacement Parts, and you are welcome to collect in person at our Lethbridge store.
