Fluval 206/306 & 207/307 Bio-Foam Max - 2 Pack

Two Bio-Foam Max blocks that cover four Fluval canister filters: the 206, 306, 207 and 307.

Key features

• One part fits both the 06 and 07 generations, so upgrading your filter does not mean changing your spares
• Rippled surface spreads the debris load rather than letting it pack into a single face
• Thicker construction than plain Bio-Foam, holding a larger bacterial population
• Custom fit to the media basket, so water is pushed through the foam rather than around it

Fit and maintenance

Bio-Foam Max is model-specific. This one covers the 200 and 300 sizes; the 106/107 and the 406/407 take different blocks, each listed on its own page. In use, rinse in a container of tank water at every service and let the block earn its keep. Replace it only once the foam stops recovering its shape, and change one of the two at a time so the filter keeps its established bacteria. More canister media is in External Media, or pick up at our Lethbridge store.
