Three bags of ammonia remover.
Freshwater only, and only when you need it
Zeolite does not work in salt water, where dissolved salts displace ammonia from the exchange sites, so treat this as a freshwater product. It is also not something a healthy cycled tank needs. Running it permanently takes away the ammonia your biological filter would otherwise be living on. Use it to hold the line during a problem, keep testing the water, and take it out once the tank is stable. If you are trying to establish a cycle, foam and ceramic biological media are the long-term answer and are listed in External Media. Available for pickup at our Lethbridge store.
