We do not take backorders on live fish, invertebrates or plants. Livestock arrives on the shipping schedule our suppliers and the weather allow, so we will not promise a date we cannot keep.
What is in the tanks changes from week to week. Ask us and we will tell you what is in and what is coming, or check back shortly. Visit us or get in touch.

Black snowflake clownfish are a captive-bred designer strain of Amphiprion ocellaris in which the white banding has broken up and spread into wide, irregular blotches across a black body. Because the pattern is not fixed, every fish is different — some carry a near-solid white saddle, others a fine scatter of markings. Pattern continues to change as the fish grows, so what arrives as a juvenile will not be exactly what you have in a year.
Aquarium care
- Adults reach about 8 cm.
- A 75 L aquarium is a reasonable minimum for a single fish or a pair.
- Keep one fish or one bonded pair; mixing unrelated clownfish generally ends in fighting.
- Captive bred and easy to feed on pellets, flake and frozen foods.
- No anemone is required; a coral, powerhead or corner is usually adopted instead.
- Hardy, and a reasonable choice for someone still building marine experience.
Suits a settled reef or fish-only tank with gobies, cardinalfish, chromis and small wrasses. It will hold a territory, so avoid other clownfish and timid bottom dwellers. If pattern matters to you, come and pick the individual fish in store rather than ordering sight unseen.
Stock rotates with each shipment, and livestock is available for local pickup at our Lethbridge store. See the saltwater fish collection.
