Seachem Stability®

Stability is a bottled bacterial culture used to establish a biological filter in a new aquarium, or to rebuild one that has been knocked back.

• Seeds the blend of bacteria that convert ammonia and nitrite in a freshly set up tank
• Also used after a filter clean, a media swap or a course of medication has damaged the colony
• Worth dosing when adding a batch of new fish and the bioload jumps
• Works in freshwater and marine systems

Bacteria still need feeding, so a new tank needs an ammonia source and time. Keep testing ammonia and nitrite through the cycle rather than assuming a bottle has finished the job, and hold off on heavy stocking until both read zero. Follow the label for the daily starting doses.
