Seachem Safe™

Safe is the dry powdered form of the same chemistry as Prime, and it is dramatically more concentrated.

Key features

• Removes chlorine and chloramine and temporarily detoxifies ammonia and nitrite, exactly as Prime does
• Far more economical per litre treated, which is why fish rooms and large systems use it
• Does not affect pH and will not over activate a skimmer
• Comes with a measuring scoop in the small container

Two cautions worth taking seriously. The doses are genuinely tiny, so measure with the scoop or an accurate scale rather than guessing with a spoon. And unlike Prime it has no stabilisers, so do not mix a batch into water and store it for later.

If you keep one or two tanks, the liquid Prime is easier to live with. Both sit with our water conditioners.
