Flourish Phosphorus is a nitrate free potassium phosphate solution for planted tanks that have run their phosphate down to nothing.
Key features
Raises phosphate without adding nitrate, so the two can be adjusted independently
For planted tanks where phosphate reads at or near zero and growth has slowed or leaves have gone dark
Complements Flourish Nitrogen and Flourish Potassium in a full macro routine
Phosphate is easy to overshoot and hard to remove once it is in, so test before dosing and increase slowly. In a tank with a normal fish load and regular feeding, phosphate is rarely the limiting nutrient. This bottle earns its keep in dense, fast growing scapes where the plants have stripped the water bare.
