Males are silver-blue with a bright red snout and red tips to the tail; females are plain silver-grey with an orange spot at the tail base. The very fine scaling gives the body a smooth, almost scaleless look, which is where the naked name comes from.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eAquarium care\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSmall, around 3 to 4 cm.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eKeep a group of eight or more, with more females than males.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNeeds hard, alkaline water.
