Small numbers are slow to settle and slow to breed.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFeeds on biofilm and soft algae, topped up with a good shrimp food and blanched vegetables.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWants stable, moderately hard water; sudden changes in parameters cause more losses than anything else.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCopper in any form, including some medications and fertilisers, will kill them.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003cp\u003eGood company includes chili rasboras, ember tetras, pygmy corydoras and other small peaceful fish, though all of them will take shrimplets given the chance. Provide moss and leaf litter for the young.
